Dear Gina,

Pip and I and our two friends are just back from forty hours in our Cessna Caravan from Bankstown to Bankstown via Forrest on the Nullarbor, Paraburdoo, Newman, Port Hedland, Marble Bar and the Kimberley before returning home via Birdsville.

Gina, we flew over most, I think, of your incredible operations at Roy Hill.  We also flew over your family property and saw the Robinson helicopter parked outside the hangar.

Gina, I have to compliment you on your incredible abilities.  I have never seen anything like it in my life!  I remember when I saw Keith Williams building the airstrip on Hamilton Island that was quite extraordinary and it seemed equivalent to half a Snowy Mountains Scheme.  What you are doing is equivalent to ten Snowy Mountains Schemes with the most extraordinary works on the mine plus the village for the staff and the enormous railway line construction.

I have never been so excited in all my life and it’s wonderful to see what you are doing that will give thousands of jobs to Australians and lots of income for our country.

To use an Australian expression, “I dips me lid” to you.

Regards
Dick
