NT Chief Minister has announced his business ambassadors

Adam Giles, NT Chief Minister has announced his business ambassadors which Manzie thinks is an ‘absolutely positive step’. Manzie says that he made the announcement at the establishment of the NT Business Events Ambassador Program. He says that Giles has listed 16 of Australia’s leading business and community leaders with a very broad cross section of experiences and expertise and their single goal is promoting the NT both nationally and internationally. He says that Luke Bowen, Executive Director, NT Cattlemen’s Association is on the board. He says that Sarina Bratton, founder, Orion Expedition Cruises is also on the board as is Michael Bridge, CEO, AirNorth and Chair, NT Tourist Commission. Professor Alan Cas, Director, Menzies School of Health and Lyndon Frearson, General Manager, Centre of Alternative Technology and Daryl Guppy, President, NT Australia China Business Council are all on the board also. He says that Paul Henderson, former NT Chief Minister and Simon McKeon, Executive Chair, Macquarie Group and Dr Doug McTaggart, NT Government Economic Development Panel and Shen Min, Chief Representative, China Council with Promotion of International Trade are all on the board. He says that Dr Len Notaras, Executive Director, National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre and Vicki O’Halloran, CEO, Somerville Community Services and President, National Disability Service and Secretery, NT Council of Social Services are on the board, He says that James Paspaley, Paspaley Group and Gina Rinehart, Executive Chairman, Hancock Prospecting and Katherine Sarneckis, Chief Executive Officer, Northern Territory Seafood Council are all in the group also. He says that Ian Smith, Founder, BeSpoke Approach and member of NTG Economic Development Panel is also on the list. Manzie says that it is a very good list and congratulates Giles on that.
